Okay, first is my alternate path... Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Will Smith in Concussion Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson (Stacks) in Rules of Engagement.
As for Stabler, the key is the first link... Christopher Meloni and Jennifer Tilly in Bound (GREAT movie BTW) Jennifer Tilly and Michael Madsen in The Getaway (remake) Michael Madesn and Samuel L. Jackson (Stacks) in The Hateful Eight.
I think I'm done with the Oz links. Eammon Walker (Said) appeared in a SLJ movie but he delivered the baby that would grow up to be SLJ so no actor interaction there.
Instead, let's go... James Cromwell

Blonde, that's a good set of links, I saw Concussion...and forgot he was (miscast) in that film...they had West African actor playing an African American athlete, and an AA actor playing a West African doctor..bad accents ALL AROUND!!! Speaking of Eamon, he should have been cast as the doctor.
I don't disagree that Eammon Walker could have been a better actor in the Concussion role, but studios will sacrifice quality for money 10 times out of 10, and Will Smith still moves the needle for enough people out there (myself not included).
I haven't seen the first movie, so I'm assuming there was at least one exchange of dialogue between... Lee Marvin and Jim Brown in The Dirty Dozen Jim Brown and Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro in Heat.

Blonde, I agree. Will is box office name. I think Smith is a decent action star, but doesn't have the acting chops to pull of dramatic roles...and you ask him to portray person with accent....not gonna work
Tapping out...can't do it in under 4 steps....not even for "one million dollars"
Seth Green and Mark Wahlberg in The Italian Job Mark Wahlberg and Julianne Moore in Boogie Nights Julianne Moore and Ray Liotta (Henry Hill) in Hannibal.
Rick Moranis

Blonde, certain names come up and they appear so obvious that I immediately see it as a trick question...like Rick Moranis seems easy but then I start to think of whether he spoke to the other person. So I'll avoid blowing it and go another route.
Rick Moranis and Steve Martin in My Blue Heaven(funny in weird way)
Martin and Eddie Murphy in Bowfinger (also funny in weird way)
Good get. My Blue Heaven is one of my guilty pleasure movies.
Bobcat Goldthwait and Steve Guttenberg in Police Academy 2 (a former guilty pleasure I watched dozens of times on HBO in the 80's) Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson in Three Men and a Baby Ted Danson and Paul Sorvino (Paulie) in A Fine Mess.
Frances McDormand

William H. Macy and Joe Mategna in Homicide (I actually rented this from Blockbuster thinking that Macy was David Caruso(nypd blue era) on the boxcover , watched 10 minutes and not seeing Caruso, rewound film and returned later)
Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins in The Human Stain (saw this in a Madstone theater, which showed exclusively indies and foreign) Anthony Hopkins and Ray Liotta in Hannibal.
Keeping the Fargo theme going with a softball... Steve Buscemi

The only movie I can remember seeing him in is The Purge: Anarchy, and I can't link him through anyone in that. That character didn't interact with either of the two actors in that whose name I even know.
