I could never really get into Breaking Bad,

I think you can accuse The Wire and Breaking Bad of being unrealistic at times, moreso than The Sopranos.

The Shield was hurt, in my opinion, by the censorship. No bad words? come on...

Damn near everything in the wire is real life shit in Baltimore. The election of the mayor that was O'Malley coming in after Schmoke, and when the mayor won the governor sea, and the black woman was elected mayor that happened(Shelia Dixon)who was convicted of corruption. the whole first season was how they took down Melvin Williams. The only thing that may not be real was the area they let drug addicts and sellers openly buy and sell. The rest was real deal Baltimore shit. A lot of the real major Baltimore drug players were on the sets of the wire as advisors and actors Williams and Shorty Buise

Yeah, you're probably right. I thought McNulty's storyline in season 5 was a bit hokey though.

And I think they overdid some of the mythos around Omar, like the Spiderman leap.

And Brother Mouzone.

Come on! Was he really based on somebody?

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.
