Just hearing that Carrie Fisher passed away. How sad. Oh no... What a mean 2016!  Anyway, the new thread for 2017 has been posted so you can PM me your new lists anytime up until the New Year....

What a shocker/loss for the family. Very very sad. I haven't seen all her movies BUT really liked her and thought she was very pretty. Aside from Singing In The Rain, I remember Tammy, The Tender Trap, and one I really liked, Say One For Me. Old timers, remember back in the day EVERY movie magazine cover was Debbie, Eddie and Liz Taylor who Eddie left Debbie for. Huge scandal  TIS

So, did SC break a record of deaths on a list? I think it's the most "kills" we had here on the GBB since we started this. Kind of scary when fully 1/3 of your list bites the proverbial dust. I'm undecided if I'll participate in next year's contest. While it is ghoulishly fun I'm getting a little freaked by it.

Even though, I do believe that your list (and everyone else) consisted of mostly 80+ or known ill. A lot of expected people who would eventually face the end soon. If you had a couple of the surprised deaths that happened this year...then yeah, I would fully agree about taking a year off from this.
