Speaking of Jews, I'm almost done watching Once Upon A Time In America. Back in the '90s I rented a VHS version of this that was just awful. It was edited all to hell. Made no sense whatsoever. I could see the great acting but the story was just a mess the way they kept cutting back and forth in the timeline. Finally I get the BluRay which is the actual uncut version and it is just beautiful. The cinematography of New York to stand in for the prohibition era is amazing. The story makes sense now and even though it's such a long movie it somehow moves fast enough to keep you interested. I'm going to watch it again as soon as I'm done and try to connect the characters to the real life mobsters they're based on. If you haven't seen it, or have only seen the crappy edited version that went around in decades' past, be sure to see the full unedited version. Masterpiece by Sergio Leone that could be up there with Scorsese and Coppola.

Ill never understand why these conspiracy theorist and anti semites use the rothchilds and these other old german jewish families as proof of a illuminati or whatever. The rothschild banking dynasty for example came about because back in the day europeans were not allowed to engage in usury or money lending because the bible forbid it however the jewish people did not have this rule hence german nobility started appointing what they would call court jews who could handle their financial transactions and borrow money and so forth. This was then became a wide spread practice not because jewish people manipulated the system but because of prohibitions the european people put upon themselves. Obviously this made these families very wealthy and powerful because they were the bankers for alot of europes nobility . The rothchilds then also took on the practice that many royal families had of inter marriage which meant that much of their wealth stayed within the family. Its not an evil conspiracy that this aristocratic family has many of its descendants involved in high level banking and other influential positions thats just the way aristocracy works.
