It's super rare that a sureno gang get wiped out like that. I can think of a couple that are basically extinct after an Eme green light. Opal Street Locos in Boyle Heights and Lowell St that broke off of El Sereno in north East LA.
Most other hoods that get green lighted eventually get off the list. By making things right, either with money or killing the right person or people.
I'd assume for a cartel to be affected, it would have to be a big gang that's targeted. But if it's a bigger and established gang then they aren't going to be wiped out.
