You are taking it wrong .
I am speaking from there point of view they very much consider themselves men of honor they were protecting other Italians and doing for other Italians then it all changed .
Not talking about black hand or any other groups ..but the Italian mob considered themselves men of honor.
They've always considered themselves honorable. And still do. It's just that very few of them act honorable. They only expect others to act that way.
