There's no revision of history in my comment. I'm pointing out documented facts, that are on video.

There's video of the store clerk confronting Brown before he exits. By legal standards, he's not a shoplifter at this point. It's likely he was going to steal, but technically he hadn't. Would have been key in court. Lawyers don't let any stone go unturned.
