No, because nothing ever happened between Furio and Carm. The first thing the Italian bosses would demand is some sort of proof, a witness, if nothing else, that Carm and Furio screwed around. All we have is Carmela, in a heated argument with Tony, saying she was attracted to Furio. Tony might have witnessed some mild flirting between the two, that of course went over his head at the time anyway. Then there was the bizarre incident near the plane propeller at the Indian casino, that Tony barely remembers because he was drunk. Bottom line is, Furio is made in Italy, and for an American boss to kill him over his wife merely admitting she's attracted to him would not fly. If Tony had Furio killed based on what we knew, Italy would have sent some zips here to kill Tony, probably the same two that killed Rusty Millio. They'd love the chance to buy more American swag and sell it on the Euro.

"...the successful annihilation of organized crime's subculture in America would rock the 'legitimate' world's foundation, which would ultimately force fundamental social changes and redistributions of wealth and power in this country. Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea
