Yeah I do. The firm I'm at specializes in criminal defense I passed the Texas bar exam last year. Luckily Houston is the third biggest city in the nation (Harris County) so there's money in it. That and I didn't end up working for the state in criminal defense since most criminal lawyers do. I was dreading I'd have to be a public defender lol.


oh nice Chicken thats great dude...i totally understand about the public defenders shit, Baltimore city like most places the Public defenders are insanely overworked and highly underpaid as im sure you know...thats great youre at a firm that actually specializes criminal defense...its rare in Baltimore to find that. I am studying to take the PA bar since thats where im from originally and hopefully I can find a firm that has that specialty....Honestly though, from what ive heard here, if youre a criminal defense attorney, the BEST clients are mob guys...b/c they always have money, they usually go to trial, and the cases are usually longer and require a lot more work which in turn equals plenty more billable hours
