I just started a program to listen to all of my music instead of the same 10 albums over and over again. I'm planning to dispose of anything I can't bring myself to listen to, and have already eliminated some singer-songwriters of the early 90 ' s. I'm into some vocalists now - I really enjoyed Louis Prima and Keely Smith and liked about 3/4 of a Julie London collection. Next up is a Hoagy Carmichael collection that includes six different versions of Stardust.

Bouncing Around the Room- Phish


Got my Phish tickets in the mail yesterday three nights will be my 16th,17th and 18th show since 2009

Whenever i listen to a song, for the most part, i tune everything out except for the drums. Im a huge bonham fan.

Continuing my meander through my own record collection, I got through collections by those twin towers of the 60s, Tom Jones and Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Jones's "She's a Lady" is wonderfully...uh...retro, shall we say.

Moving toward the bottom of my general vocalists, I'm now going through a couple of discs from Capitol Records' Definitive American Songbook series. It includes vocalists from Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby to Ray Charles and Willie Nelson to Linda Ronstadt and Harry Nilsson. My favorites among many great tracks are probably Nelson's "Blue Skies" and Ella Fitzgerald's "Paper Moon."

Not sure if anyones heard of Ocean Colour Scene in the states...they're a great british band, started in the early 90's and still doing well, Ive sen them a few times...this is their best, in my opinion (its also great acoustic if you want to hear on youtube). Id be interested to know peoples thoughts on this one - always wondered why some great bands don't make it in America

Good music wears dark glasses so he gives the appearance he was on or is still on something. He was not on junk. Meth I guess do you know?

Like the music like the concept. What is matter with those two they can't dance like they did when they were younger. My wife I can still dance. Her friends have a harder time they use canes most of my friends are not with us anymore.

I like the song not a huge music video guy. Maybe it is about how somethings never change and even though you get older you can still enjoy the things you did when you were young. But who knows I could be 100% wrong
