A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention makes clear that heroin, once the scourge of the inner city, has moved into the suburbs with middle-aged white women seeing some of the largest jumps in use of the illegal narcotic.
When it was mostly confined to Black and Brown people in the 'hood, heroin addicts were written off as scumbags and lowlives.
Now, as H and other drugs have spread across every demographic...drug addicts are "victims who need counseling". Cops even carry heroin overdose antidote kits now to save addicts from OD'ing.
