They show John Kasich eating a slice of pizza with a fork and knife cutting it into bit size pieces in queens. People said he should not be president because of it. I agree he is a barbarian  But people do eat different kinds of pizza different ways I don't even order a pizza in a restraunt. I am not going to mess up an expensive suit by eating a pizza. When I order a pizza I eat it at home. I wear an old t shirt just in case. Or an old fashion sleeveless under shirt. I even remember noticing I had a good shirt on and took it off before I started to eat it. So what do you guys do.

With my hand, unless it is a deep dish, then I use a fork or cut the slice into or three, then use my hands.
Alfonsogirl, if you are ever in Ventura CA, hit up Tony's, it's a small place near the brewery, it's been there forever, another is Sasso Cucino, near the waterfront. Those are two I can think of down in the LA area close to New York style, ever since Dom's and Josephine closed down in LA, at the turn of the century.

I don't pick off the top, I most definitely don't fold. I get right down to business, pick up the piece and eat.  No fork needed. I grew up with homemade pizza. My mom would make bread and enough dough for a pizza dinner. Always thick Sicilian pizza. When I was a teenager I finally had store brought pizza. I was so amazed at how paper thin it was. I always liked to have anchovies on my pizza but most people don't like them so I'm kind of use to having pizza without. Oh, and while we're talking pizza, two things that don't belong on pizza IMO, is ham or pineapple. I like them both but NOT on pizza.  A-Girl, you're right. NOTHING beats NY pizza (except my mom's)  . I am use to pizza out here in CA. We had a Graziano's where I use to live and it was pretty good. But nearest me now is Domino's. TIS

If you are in public,it makes sense to eat pizza with a knife and fork. Oh, and I'm not Italian, but you guys have probably figured that out by now. This is a true story I just moved to Brooklyn and bough my first house. I was around twenty. Which was over 50 years ago. I go across Flatbush ave to buy a pie to bring home. While I am waiting a livery cab drivers pulls up to buy a slice. It's a working stiff black guy. There were a bunch of punk white kids hanging out in the place. There playing video game and listening to the juke box. In those days guys would offer money to redo the pizza place. All the owner had to do was let them put the video games in the place. The guys collected all the money the video game made. It was a good deal for the owner. He needed no up front money to redecorate the place. Except you had a bunch of punks hanging out in the store all day long. Any way there is like 8 or more kids hanging out. They started to bother the black guy. So I told the kids why don't you leave the guy alone. He is just buying a slice not doing anything wrong. Then they start on me for siding with him. The owners said nothing to them. They they called me a N lover. I hit the ring leader I throw him over the counter. Took the pizza cuter and opened up his face. Now they are all in shock the black guy left. I told them I don't want to see them in this place any more. If I do I will cut them up too. I stopped going in there after that.
