They were, for lack of a better term, glorified crews who answered to Chicago. At least that is what I've read about the subject..
The Outfit lost much of his size. The had a crew in Las Vegas desbanded in the late 80s,a crew in San Diego with Chris Patti;Fratto in omaha,Nebraska and Anthony j. Di Biase in Iowa.
Now all these crews are dead,but the Outfit had a man for take down what remains of the Balestrieri family's racket.
