The real story behind the Goodfellas Billy Batts situation allegedly was that he Batts was killed primarily by Jimmy Burke as he didnt want to give up the shylock book he had taken over from Batts/Bentvena (correct me if Im wrong!)

If so, how did Burke get this in the first place? And how would he think he could keep it? Considering it was run by a made (allegedly, Im not convinced Bentvena was) guy, attached to the Gambinos?
