With Gravano co-operating with the government and being forced to flee New York he left behind potentially millions of dollars in earnings from all the pies he had fingers in.

Is there not a slim possibility that he turned to drugs as an easy way of leveraging his infamy and making easy money while in Arizona, having grown frustrated with not being able to leverage his mob ties to make big bucks like he did when he associated with Cosa Nostra?

Also - would the Feds not have had a slam dunk with the tapes that incriminated Gotti?
