I'm afraid this is going to be awful. Nothing I can see suggests this movie will work. Not that Connoly doesn't deserve a chance as the director but Travolta as Gotti? I can't see it. Last I heard, Ben Foster was going to play Junior. Now Foster is a great actor but he's probably even harder to picture as Junior than Travolta is his dad.

This is gonna be terrible. I never could see travolta as gotti either. The Armand Asante gotti I liked but travolta is gonna make a mess of JG. They're setting themselves up for failure. But it probably will still make a ton of loot just off the Gotti name:

defo john gene got made before him but only because john was in prison and when john got out he got made straight away and gene went back to reporting to john he did have alot of respect till he tried to run the family from prison using junior and peter to run the family guys like joe watts who were big gotti loyalists till john went to prison then it all changed
