I don't know the man or anything, but I think guys like that usually get back into crime. What else can a guy like that do? If he's in his 70s, I don't think he would get hired on at a loading dock somewhere. If he was in jail a long time, he won't get much out of Social Security, you have to have worked on the books to pay into it. Unless he has some capital saved up to start up a legit business, or has contacts that can get him a legit well-paying job, I bet he will get into some kind of rackets again. Not being critical of him or anything, just thinking about what he can do at his age with his criminal record.
