Charlie Sheen will announce he's HIV positive in a TV interview Tuesday, according to TMZ.

The "Wall Street" actor will reportedly sit down with Matt Lauer on the "Today" show to discuss the details, NBC sources reportedly told the website.

In a press release on Monday, NBC said Sheen will be making a "revealing personal announcement."

The National Enquirer first reported on Monday the 50-year-old actor is HIV positive and has already settled one potential lawsuit with a woman he exposed. She was supposedly represented by celebrity attorney Gloria Allred.

"Charlie had sex with multiple partners since learning his HIV status without informing them of his potentially deadly HIV infection," a source reportedly told the publication.

"Charlie hired escorts, and him being HIV positive never entered these women's minds," another source said. "The fact is, he was playing Russian roulette with their lives, while the women were playing Russian roulette with the prospect of becoming pregnant by Sheen, and being set for life."

The Enquirer reportedly has a video in which Sheen's former fiancee, adult film star Scottine Ross, also known as Brett Rossi, screams at him "You exposed me to HIV for a year and a half!" An "insider" reportedly told the Enquirer that Sheen waited four months into their relationship before telling her, and that he wasn't using protection. The engagement was called off after eight months, in Oct. 2014.

The Enquirer also says it has a text sent by Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller, with whom Sheen has twin 6-year-old boys, to the actor's assistant, saying "I couldn't handle the HIV news. Just six months ago I was diagnosed with the eye disease and then Charlie potentially giving me HIV. I started doing heavy drugs with Charlie, staying up for days and it made my brain misfire."

Sheen has been married two other times and has three more children. His 21-year-old daughter, Cassandra, was with his high school sweetheart Paula Profilt, while he has an 11-year-old and a 10-year-old with second wife, actress Denise Richards.

The Daily Mail points out Sheen has been out of the spotlight most of the past year. His only television appearance since his series "Anger Management" went off the air in 2014 was in February, on ABC comedy "The Goldbergs."
