We actually shut him down last year too. He only had 79 yards on 21 carries last year. I think we proved we have the best front 7 without a doubt in college football this year. They ain't playing around!

Dixie, I don't know how you rate your all-time Alabama teams,

but this team is as great as they come, what a defense! and henry is as good a back as the tide has ever had.

I think the 2011 defense was better overall, but this defensive line might be the best we've ever had including better than the '92 team which had Eric Curry and John Copeland at ends that dominated the unbeatable Miami team.

The Ole Miss game included one pass that was thrown blindly and straight up in the air that bounced off our DB's hands and right into the Ole Miss WR hands for a TD, then the last touchdown that sealed it Chad Kelly was almost past the line of scrimmage when he threw the pass with linemen more than 5 yards downfield which should have been flagged and wasn't. Add that to 5 turnovers and for some reason us starting Cooper Bateman at QB (still didn't understand that move) and you'll see why we lost that game. If we played them again it's not even close.

I don't think it's even close to 11 or 09 or even 92. This is our best D-Line ever without a doubt, but overall we would be behind those others I listed. If we play like that against Clemson they don't have a chance.

Just read yesterday. Blake Barnett is looking real good in camp. Kid was rated just behind Josh Rosen coming out H.S.

I'd be surprised if Barnett starts. I'd rather have him of course but Saban generally leans towards experience and Bateman has more. If Bateman is our QB we will lose some games.

Better look out for the darkhorse Jalen Hurts. He probably won't start and might even redshirt this year, but he's one of the fastest kids on the team as is a QB. He is a Texas kid and was a coach's son so he is very smart football wise. He will be good.
