There are usually fights among adults when the bill comes to the table as to who is paying. You can get your arm stabbed with a fork if you take that bill away from someone.

Also, an Italian daughter belongs to her Italian father until the day she is married. Usually, even after she is married the father will still flip the bill.

The boyfriend or son-in-law is insulting the father when he tries to pay. You just don't do a stupid thing like that.
