Surprised nobody mentioned this (perhaps nobody dared):
Adult film actress/producer Candida Royalle died September 7 after a battle with ovarian cancer. She was 64.
Interestingly enough, she graduated from my old high school - the High School of Art & Design in NYC, though I didn't know her (in any sense of the word) because she was a couple of years older than me.
