Author! Author! Two Bits
So what do you think - are they any good?
Should I watch them all? Author Author : We see the humorous side of Pacino, who is left to bring up kids left to him from several different marriages/relationships while trying to write a hit broadway play at the same time. Two Bits : 12-year old Gennaro lives with his widowed mom ( Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) and his ailing grandpa ( Pacino ), who sits outside holding tight to his last quarter, which he's promised to Gennaro and which Gennaro would like to have to buy a ticket to the plush new movie theater. But grandpa's not ready to pass on the quarter or pass on to his final reward: he has some unfinished business with a woman from his past, and he enlists Gennaro to act as his emissary. If you are a true Pacino fan, you will enjoy both of these movies. Don Cardi

I have seen Author, Author (light comedy, but not a real hit); Revolution, which actually I hadn't heard of until I saw it in the video store. I only rented it because Pacino was in it. I know it got bad reviews, and although I can't say I loved it, it wasn't as bad as many say. I did like Insomnia, but in my opinion, his earliest movies are his best movies. Not a reflection on his acting but more on the roles he plays I guess. TIS
