I think I grasp the situation as well as is possible now. Front bosses for the west side were not given as much leeway in making major decisions? While in Chicago although similar the bosses that Ricca/Accardo appointed were allowed more freedom in decision making, except in certain cases. Also would you agree that in Chi the appointees would be expected to be groomed and groomed until he was eventually THE BOSS, I.e Aiuppa, while in the WS you were a front Boss while the eventual Successor was already chosen but stayed behind the scenes although in a powerful position?
