I'm not going to pretend to know the ins and outs of this kind of stuff - but if Vernace was consigliere - would it not be kind of rude and undiplomatic to take that title off him, if he doesn't want to step down?
I mean he does his time and if he holds any kind of respect, why would you kick that hornets nest?
