Collateral is third to Le Samourai and Taxi Driver on my favorites. As for the ending I thought that it was more the rising action, rather then the end that was the problem. I don't think it could've ended any other way. I loved however, the fact that Mann may resort to an average cat and mouse chase, but he still makes it great to watch, such as the office scene.

I can't wait for Miami Vice as well. It'll probably be the only good TV series turned into a film lately.
