Republicans don't want a theocracy, they want to protect the right to exercise religious beliefs. They also recognize the importance of religion in our culture. The majority being Christianity but other faiths as well. Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikh, etc.
Democrats have fooled your respective ethnic group into believing every Republican is an old white male intent on suppressing you. If you want to see who your oppressors truly are just look at the party 80-90% of blacks vote for every election.
