most wiseguys live their whole lives being the type to not be intimitated or pushed around by anybody. so while they're not running thr place, they're not getting bullied either. id imagine the more reasonable ones who are doing short bids stick to themselves and try to do the easiest time possible, which is the goal of any semi-reasonable person in there.
gotti getting attacked and the whole AB thing was overblown. people always bring that up to argue that LCN isnt as strong as it once was, but its more about how in prison anybody could get it from anyone at any time. imo
That was Gotti's own fault. Gotti was respected in prison, but he thought just because he's John Gotti that meant he could punk another inmate without retribution. Once you step to another inmate, all bets are off. Just look at Gigante. He was 12 years older than Gotti and had no problems in when he went to prison.
