Tareek Arnold, 23, was apparently in handcuffs at the 32nd Precinct station house in Harlem when he "assaulted a police officer escorting him" to central booking, the NYPD says. He was last seen fleeing northbound on West 134th Street and 8th Avenue.

According to WCBS 2, "dozens of cops and bloodhounds" were brought to the neighborhood and "residents of nearby buildings were being told to stay indoors on Tuesday night. Residents who were outside waited nearly two hours to return to their homes." One said, "I just came home from work, and I went to pull up, and while I pulled up, I seen one car pulling up there — and three cops jumped out the car."

Arnold was last seen wearing gray sneakers, a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and a grey hooded sweatshirt. Police say he also has a tattoo that says "Troll" and a tattoo that says "Militant Soldiers."
