So did anyone watch the premiere that aired earlier tonight? I did. It was okay, I wish they used more actual photos and footage of the real guys, but they don't. It's mostly Ray Liotta narrating and the actors providing the visuals to his words. The debut episode was all about Luciano & Co. And ironically one of the experts they have talking is Richard Hammer, co-author of "The Last Testament Of Lucky Luciano". I'm kinda "eh" on this series so far, a lot of things are entirely inaccurate.

It was probably one of the worst documentaries I have ever seen, and some of their facts were wrong. First two episodes have been watched and now just 6 more. Hopefully it will get at least slightly better.

I watched it and wasn't impressed. One problem is that,like many Board members, I've watched so many of these how the Mafia began stories that it's becoming water on a duck's back for me.

I watched it. It was mediocre at best. I was somewhat entertained. I knew how the format would be, having actors act while Ray Liotta narrated. So I wasn't surprised by that but there were definitely discrepancies in their research. I have my DVR set for the series, so I'll watch it all. I just thought it would be a bit better. Hopefully it improves.
