Media pundits, elected officials,etc are too afraid of turning off their target audiences to tell the truth. It's not in their best interests to do so......or how the say it in Baltimore "to due so".

Watching this coverage, I can see now that a lot of people speaking on tv or from the ground in B-more are actually campaigning for future office now.

I've read about how the riots of '68 in the big cities across America served as the springboard for many political careers. Lot of opportunists out there getting free facetime....and scoring points.
