I have two dogs. A Weener dog, and a Cocker Spanial/Terrier mix. The Mutt is named Shammy and the Weener is simply Weener, or Regis Philbman formally. I love them more than anything. Part, Is your weener also very unusual?( ) I find mind to be the most interesting dog ever. He insists on curling up in blankets wherever he goes and acts strangly wherever he goes. He is very mischievious. He hets into things and is a general nusiance. His behavior has always been on the level with that of a howling monkey. Naturally I think he is more interesting than my other dog. Are weener dogs not the coolest things ever? No offense to Shammy. She is much older. She's old and enjoys doing nothing. She adores being outside and lounging around. The most personal dog you will ever see. The best, most obidient, friendly, loyal and caring canine ever. I will treasure her forever. But that Weener, there's just something about a dog that has the same personality as Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack. In my psychology class we found statistics that say people, especially old people, who have dogs go to the hospital less often for many heart related and stress related conditions as to those who own cats or no pets. I would like dogs more, if I liked animals in general. They're more loveable. But since I don't really like animals, and cats tend to leave you alone and be more aloof, I'd rather be in the same room with a cat than a dog. (Not to say I like cats, by any means. :p ) As far as actually having pets, I've only had one pet all my life... when I was little, I used to have a beautiful but vicious dog named Bruno. (Some of you know that story... )

Part, Yeah, I love my Weiner too. I got him roughly 4 years ago also. He is a Tweenie. He is about 17-18 pounds because he is abnormally long.(Thank you very much! ) He is longer than most weiner dogs his height according to the veternarian. He looks like yours but his tan spots are much brighter. He appearntly is a "show dog" we were told. Perfect in every way for his breed, except for his length. I LOVE having him be too long though, talk about a distinguishing characteristic.. He's wonderful, when I go home for break, I will post some pics of him if I can get them on here. He loves critters and rabbits and anything he can intimidate, unless it intimidates back, then he runs like hell! Hahaha, LONG LOVE MY WEINER! :p The Doc

I have had 4 dogs in my lifetime. One, some kind of terrier (looked like a huge rat One mutt, and 2 Great Danes (at separate times). The Danes were actually great, mellow dogs (not to mention very smart and easy to train). As huge as they were, they really didn't require a lot of running space. Sad thing is, both died at a very young age (heart attacks). And these were both registered champion blood dogs. Cost some money getting there ears cropped, and feeding them as well, but they were good dogs. That being said, I am not an animal lover really. I thought the dogs were great for my children when they were younger, but I am just not one who gets extremely attached to any animal. I almost hesitate to say it. I mean, I dont' believe in abusing animals, I'm just not an animal lover. Haven't had a pet in about 5 years now, and it's fine with me. TIS

Okay, I lied, one of his favorite things to do is hunt bees.. he looks like a lion pouncing on an antelope or something. DSC, sorry to hear about that. Something similar happened to me before. I had a dog named Dusty, a Cairn Terrier. When I was about 6 or 7 I picked him up, and I guess I really pissed him off because he hauled off and bit my cheek. My dad was furious, he took Dusty and threw him into the basement.. then we gave him away to my Uncle. I only found out a couple years ago that he died about 5 years ago. I've still got the scar on my cheek though..
