Thanks for the repsonse, PB. Attorneys in DC and CO have filed class-action suits claiming prolonged solitary is cruel and unusual. Who knows if they'll be heard. Guess that's his best shot.
there is a prison in California called pelican bay, and, its 24 hr lockup, and some have been in solitary for years, its definitely cruel and unusual punishment.
frontline did a doc on it a few years back, nothing changed at all.
