Thanks, buddy. But it honestly bothers some people here. But the history of New York City is a passion of mine, so that's that. And by now, you know me better to know whether or not I care when people criticize me for being a "know-it-all" about certain neighborhoods.

I forget if it was Yeats or Walt Whitman who wrote it. But they were both great poets, and the quote affected my outlook on criticism in a big way. It went something like this: Too fucking bad grin.

Really, the reason I joined was to ask you questions about NYC, demographics and the surrounding area. I find it fascinating. It's a vessel to view American History. And the mafia is actually a useful vessel to understand NYC demographic history. That's one of the reasons I am drawn to it.

I was a bit more interested when I lived there (as you know, I've moved out) but I still live in the tri state, and NYC is obviously the engine that drives the entire area.

I definitely appreciate your insights, anyway. Can't speak for anyone else.
