I've posted a lot about Dente and Pesci over the years, Bronx. But being that Joe D is long dead, and Joe Junior is enjoying life up in the Catskills (good for him), I'll add just a little bit.

Anyway, that asshole Frank Vincent wanted to be a wiseguy in the worst way. They chased him out of Jersey for awhile for one reason or another. Pesci got Joe D to sit down for him, and, the way I heard it, he pretty much saved his life.

So whenever you see Vincent acting like a real wiseguy on some retarded Youtube interview like that Vinny Vella nonsense, keep in mind that he's half a rat and probably would have gotten popped years ago if Pesci didn't intervene for him.

And Pesci was actually ON RECORD with Joe D. It wasn't just a matter of a celebrity and a wiseguy using each other (which used to happen all the time).
