People can call Sammy every bad name in the book (which he probably is) but prior to ratting he was a very cunning, low-key up and comer. Had he taken over with Frankie DeCicco things would have turned out MUCH better.

in my opinion losing decicco was the beginning of the end for the gambinos. He was only underboss but would have kept gotti straight or got rid of him
