OK. I understand why people hate Leiber, obviously. But what's the deal with the Cicale hate? Apart from his, obviously, being a rat.

He must have done something right to get made at such a young age - without knowing much else about him.

Could someone flesh this out for me?

Is there something that makes him any more dishonest and hard to take at face value than any other guy that ratted?

And without knowing anything about the ins and outs of The Philly Mob, playing devils advocate, I would have to say Narducci being boss would be pretty hard to believe - and in any case Leiber has discredited himself with the whole Borgesi thing.

Edit: And what I'm missing about Cicale may be really obvious. He was a footnote in King of the Godfathers and I only ever see him mentioned in passing here so I'm a bit out of the loop in that respect.
