That's excellent speculation that Haslam ordered the pick, but I know Farmer was high on Manziel as well. As an Ohio native, I remember well the local news outlets saying prior to the draft that Farmer loved Manziel. Anyhow, a clear cut example (if true) how owners should let the football minds handle the football business.

Look at Dallas since Jones became the GM. Pathetic. Owners need to look at the Rooney's, Kraft's and Eddie DeBartolo Jr. Three owners that knew how to win and were consistent year in and year out...it's called a stable business model.
