What can the other players talk in the huddle? Seattle's back should have asked for the ball when he heard the other call. They are like mindless machines only do what they are told. No leaders among them.

As a Green Bay fan I am happy that there is something that will take the attention off the Packers historic collapse in the NFC championship game.

perhaps the most poorly officiated superbowl EVER

broadcasters don't usually call out blown calls but I counted 7-9 no whistles in situations where a flag absolutely should have been thrown and Michaels and Colins. just called the refs out

the blown NO PASS interference or illegal contact on the final play?

Watching the replays, it's clear the arrogance of Pete Carroll cost his team the game. I have articulated my disdain of Carroll before, so I find it to be poetic justice. He tried to get cute & will be forever criticized for losing the game. And let's face it, Seattle got a gift TD when the referee picked Revis in the 3rd qtr.

I agree goombah, carroll is full of holes, just like the hawks, they were and will continue to be under carroll, a team that is not at all disciplined.

their penalties almost always get them in trouble, when they had brady penned in at the 1 yd line, they went off- side, same guy 11 times this season.

and their on the field antics, shows they have no- class, they have absolutely no discipline. and their offense play calling is close to pop warner league.

I sincerely would like carroll and all his coaches to get fired.

the most obvious was the new England defender tripping a seahawk receiver. the replays show a pass interference call should have been called.

After the Seahawks receiver scored and did the crass celebration..I thought to myself...why are you giving Brady 15 extra yards on the kickoff?

nevermind that it was a vulgar display..but it's not winning football

dudes are grown men responsible for their own actions but those of you guys who go back far enough will remember that when Carrol was an nfl head coach before usc... the opposing kicker blew the go ahead field goal....and Carrol said something to him and gave him the choke sign... which struck me as classless

Carrol fosters the same classlessness

Carrol pulls trick plays in weird spots...at a GREAT USC/Notre Dame game...with ND up with seconds left and usc inside the 5...Carrol demonstrably was givng the signal to spike the ball and stop the clock....ND took the bait, hesitated and QB did a qb sneak..got stopped and spun away from it and scored...0 seconds left....

yes, you are right. but, the thing that bothers me as an nfl fan is, that its happening on a regular basis.

it seems as though it just gets worse and worse. something needs to be done.

Offseason is off to a rousing start. Manziel is in rehab & NFL HOFer Warren Sapp was arrested for soliciting a hooker. Can't wait to see the next few months of arrests, domestic abuse, & the trial of an alleged murderer. Quite an offseason lineup Roger Goodell.

On professional athletes go for hookers. They think it's safer then trying to picking women in clubs. I was in a club and Ed Marinerio was gambling and was making a deal with a whore who was in the club. I recognized him was a Viking, and a jet and he Went into acting. At the time he was a good looking man I asked him why pick up whores.

He thought it would lead to less complications.

you are absolutely right about carroll, there is something that seperates him from the great coaches, remember the title game against texas and usc. 4th down and he didn't use reggie bush.

the other guy got stopped, and texas got the ball and vince young beat them. almost a similar situation in the super bowl.

underneath this carroll guy there is a somewhat superior attitude, and I think it has caught up with him.

let's face it, the guy blew a super bowl. he should get fired.

My Pops said he was good for a kid learning the game but never said anything about being the star that I can remember.

Tell me if I am wrong. I had a one time friend in HS that played Pop Warner football. I did not know what Pop Warner meant back then.

He played some where in Queens. I went to see him play. I was shocked when I saw them play. Everyone weighed about the same. It was a lot of skinny kids playing football.

I played in a league where any age, and any weight could play against each other.

I've never heard of a high school kid playing Pop Warner. They go by age AND weight. You could be a 9 yr old husky kid playing against 11- 12 yr olds. That age and weight group would be classified as Pee Wees.

Did you play flag or tackle football? Ha ha just kidding.

I really think if I was paul allen I would fire him. might be viewed as radical, but, he's never going to have the respect of his players that he has had in the past.

it all comes down to, are there really any excuses for what he did? I mean bottom line, the guy blew a super bowl.

I give him 2 years till he is fired. That is if they miss the playoffs, and perform really bad. Winning a super bowl gives you a lot of time, look at Coughlin or Tomlin.

Taking your team to the Super Bowl 2 years in a row and winning 1 of them? No way he's getting fired.

I think you are absolutely right, the hawks are never gong to be the team they were when they beat up Denver in the super bowl,

they were very, very lucky to get back to the super bowl this year. green bay had them on the ropes, and their highly thought of defense was exposed with both green bay, and new England.

I agree, I give the bum 2 more years max, he's never going to get over this one, no one can put a happy face on this defeat.

nickyeyes1, I'll bet you that if George halas every had a coach that did what dumbo did, halas would fire him.

don't you ever doubt that one!

I agree. It is quite an achievement for just two of 32 teams to make it to the Superbowl. The coaches and players deserve considerable credit for that achievement.
