Ed O'Neil was a YSU football star so much that he got a try-out with the Steelers. Decades ago he dated a friend of my wife and came to our house for dinner. Years later, when he became a star, he would come to my neighborhood tavern whenever he was in town. He's even a better guy than you might think he is.
