pb... you mean you have to be a self-hating Italian[pistone] to work for the FBI and infiltrate? No. I'm just in no mood today, Binnie. It's not you.

Greg was tough as nails. And don't let some fat rican cock sucker that conned him in his latter years tell you otherwise. Only point I was trying to make. But you know how I get when I get excited .

I mean I am not defending Depalma by any means. But the man was dying and in his latter years when he was tricked by this fuck handing him fed money. 20 years earlier, he would have brushed him off or had him killed. Greg was cosa nostra 110 percent. No matter how big of a dick he may have been.

Was Arnold Squitieri acting boss at the time of the operation? What kind of boss do you think he was, a good or bad one? I only remember reading about how he and a squad of Gambino soldiers tried to beat the hell out of Alex Rudaj's goons at a gas station, but backed down because the Albanians threatened to blow it up. he was basically an interim boss i mean what do u have to win or prove when some inferior fucks with nothing to lose threaten to kill you all? Not the time to act like a tough guy. Italian mob is all about opportunity.

I don't care what anyone says. Pistone is a greater man than all the mafia put together and has balls like grapefruits for doing what he did.
Would any of you guys infiltrate the mob for several years, wear a wire knowing all the time that one slip of concentration could put you six feet under? I know I wouldn't.
The man does not deserve mockery and scorn for protecting and serving his country.
And the man had more loyalty to guys like Sonny Black than any of his "friends" in the mafia.
We all know what those guys that played a hand in Sonny's death did once the going got tough. I agree with your post Moe. Joe Pistone was more loyal to Sonny Black than anyone Sonny felt beholden to in the mob because it was Joe who extended Sonny his last opportunity to save his life. And yes, you can be loyal to someone like Sonny Black more than Sonny was even loyal to himself and still be greater than the whole mob put together.

Yeah, can't compare this clown and Pistone...Pistone infiltrated the mob when it was still very powerful and was hanging around a lot of killers...Garcia chose the least active and dangerous guy and really didn't accomplish much at all!!
