Ronnie Carabbia had extensive ties to Detroit and was very well liked by other members. I can't say the same thing for Charlie, as is evident by his constant bad mouthing of Prato/Naples which is why he needed to go. Ronnie was equal to Joey while in Youngstown only he represented the Cleveland side. His mentor was Tony DelSanter as Joey's mentor was Jimmy Prato/Dominic Mallamo. If Ronnie didn't go to prison and Joey didn't get killed, I think it would have been an even more violent street war with those two going head to head.

So Ronnie Carabbia was an important guy in the mafia? But why did he participate in the Greene murder personally then? Aren't the hitmen usually chosen from the lowest links of the chain?

Willie Marfeo to Henry Tameleo:

1) "You people want a loaf of bread and you throw the crumbs back. Well, fuck you. I ain't closing down."

2) "Get out of here, old man. Go tell Raymond to go shit in his hat. We're not giving you anything."
