If i was a betting man, i would bet heavy that Merlino wants to stay in Florida, hang at his restaurant, and let the guys in Philly run Philly. I would imagine Merlino told whomever is now in charge that he just wants an envelope each month and MAYBE serve as some sort of advisor if ever needed.. I just dont see him getting involved. He will keep himself insulated and make sure he cannot get dragged into any conspiracy. Just my 2 cents.
