Dixie, well you blew it. blake sims lost it for you, the clown stinks as a qb, you had the game won until that dodo bird threw that last interception. also, you better get some new defensive coaches.
don't be surprised if saban lets the defensive coaches go. they gotta take some blame.
national championship game will be won by Oregon, ohio state wont be able to run or pass on them like they did the tide.
besides, they don't have blake sims to blow the game. im pissed off at sims!

I hate Urban Meyer as much as anyone but he did win 2 national titles at Florida. So, to say he couldn't make it in the SEC doesn't make much sense. When he saw that his recruits were gone and little Timmy Tebow was done with his career, he jumped ship knowing that Florida was going to be mediocre in the SEC. Then he went to an easier conference after he told the world that he was done with college football....he did what Nicky Boy Saban did to LSU Well...so much for that. Once again, I hate Meyer (though I respect his coaching ability) but he's proven time and again that he's the real deal wherever he goes. Though I don't think he will have enough weapons to beat the Ducks. I'm rooting for Oregon anyway. I like Mariota. Got nothing against Saban or the Tide but it's always good to see the SEC lose. And I knew FSU would be exposed.

Looking rough early on for LSU today. Whoa. Big Mistake listening to you SEC guys. Irish over LSU. How pathetic. Did you bet on a game or something? No LaL, just a little playful ball bustin'. I'm a lousy gambler. I'm a sucker for the underdog. But I did pick LSU to beat ND in the Bowl Mania game on ESPN. Nah, I wasn't expecting much from LSU. Miles knew Chavis was leaving so the teams focus wasn't on the game, but on what the hell will we do next year. Once again we will have a new defense next year because three guys that are sophomores are leaving early for the draft. The miles era is coming to an end. The players don't want to play for him and for a guy like Chavis to up and leave says A LOT about the state of the program. I wouldn't be surprised if we crumbled next year and had a losing season.

LALOU....... well, I do think next year is going to be better for the SEC, the Georgia bulldogs are a coming power, and I think Arkansas will surprise people, south Carolina will be much better, never count out spurrier,
forget the mississippis, and Missouri, the tide better get a qb. I see LSU vastly improved, or it will be miles's last year. auburn has peaked, I look for a great SEC year.

good point LAlou, much like vince young when texas beat usc, the kid showed me a lot, he should be no 1 next year, ohio st. impressed me and I give urban meyer all the credit in the world.
but, I still gotta go with Oregon, should be a great one.

Believe it or not, I'd take Oh St and the seven. Oregon is quick on defense, but that QB isn't going to do the Jamesis dance (Flop like a fish in the pocket) The guy will tuck it and run like a RB and I don't see Oregon being able to handle him the same way. They can keep a guy in to spy on him in coverage, but its going to take more than one man to bring him down. im thinking the same thing, this kid is big, and you give him a year or two, and I see one great college QB, but his lack of experience will show against Oregon, i'll take the ducks but to give 7 points is a little crazy. it should be even up.

I'll tell you one thing, after OSU's OC won the Broyles Award (top assistant) I was kinda mad after the job Kiffin did but after watching both play the OSU coach without a doubt deserved it. On their 3rd QB and they are STILL in the title game and only losing 1 game plus beat the 1 seed in the first round.
I read the other day that 28 million watched the Bama/OSU game. That's pretty damn impressive.
I'd take OSU and the 7 as well. I wasn't impressed with Mariota and his "all world" passing skills. He routinely threw into double coverage against FSU and I just don't see him making it as a NFL QB. But with Bosa's rush skills and Mariota's throwing I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a bad game Monday. I hope for your sake Saban isn't doing something extreme and grooming Kiffin for when he finally decides he's stepping down, however long that might be. I know the Tide/Tiger hate/rivalry will always be there (The REAL Tiger's, not the War Eagle-Tigers-Giraffe-"Whatever name we pick out of the hat for the week" Auburn) , but I wouldn't wish hurricane Kiffin on my worst enemy. ***Side note to Auburn, Mizzou and other Teams calling themselves "Tigers": If you wanna be Tigers, get a real Tiger. Until then put a cheerleader in a mascot suit or fly your chicken hawk (Let's be honest, it's not an eagle ) before each game.

lalou- Dixie. well, tonight is the big one. the more I think about it the more I like Oregon, I just got done looking at their season, they always dominate in the second half, because their plays are run so quick.
and, it just wears out a defense, im looking for Oregon to wear out ohio states defense, and completely dominate the second half. Im starting to see an Oregon blowout.
your thoughts.

man, ohio state blew them away, Alabama could not stop ezekiel Elliot, and cardell jones, and even with 4 turnovers Oregon did not score in the red zone.
Oregon had no running game at all, when OSU knew mariota had to pass, he failed miserbly. Oregon looked terrible.

urban meyer is coach of the year, he proved how great he is.and hes not done yet, great defense, great offense, who going to stop them.

As a lifelong Ohio State fan, it was very gratifying to see the Buckeyes handle Alabama and whip up on Oregon. Urban Meyer brought the SEC to the Big 10: big players with speed.
O-H-I-O!!! Great game we cooked the ducks. Cardale was awesome and Elloitt is a beast. Congrats to the Bucks!!

you were saying something like that a few days ago Yep if I bet on games I would have put a chunk on that line. After what OSU did to Bama (talking about mainly the run game, everyone knew they would throw on us) I thought they were blind or crazy to set this line at 6.5 I'm not even sure how they would get action on Oregon's side with that kind of line either.

Wasn't it brought down to about 5 after the Oregon WR was supsended for the game? The only thing stopping the Bucks on Monday night was the Ohio State turnovers. They were driving at will nearly every drive after their opening possession. My sense from the game was that had OSU not had 4 turnovers, their offense would have put up 56-60 points. The domination of the OSU line was reminiscent of how easily Alabama handled Notre Dame in 2012 and also when Florida had a decisive speed/size advantage over OSU in 2006.
