While Mayor Giuliani said that Mayor DeBlasio should apologize to the police if they feel he didn't have their backs, he also feels that the police have gone too far.

And, sorry, DeBlasio said what is on the mind of many parents of young black men. One of my friends is Haitian and her husband is a doctor. He got pulled over so many times simply because he was a black man driving a Mercedes that he downgraded to a Camry. They have two sons, and she is often frightened for them.

And anyone who professes to think that's not a realistic fear for a parent to have is living in Candy Land and seeing the world through rose-colored glasses.
