Yes that one comment in the context of what was happening in new york and all over the country made cops feel that the mayors office didnt support the police and that the mayor was trying to fan the anti police flames. And yes all of this is coming when deblasio is in the middle of some heated contract disputes with the nypd unions. Is pat lynch using this tragedy to try to get a leg up in those negotiations? Probably a little, but as they say all is fair in love and war....and union contract disputes. But what it comes down to is that spinless liberal wants those protestors out there and hes made it pretty clear that his heart is with the protestors ,not the cops(and if you think hes not also trying to use the situation to get an advantage over the cops in labor negotiations your nuts).
