As much as I despise Deblasio, who is a classic example of the amoral and spineless politician, I despise the liberal, Democratic voters of NYC (who seem to be as numerous as the rats that crawl in the city's sewers) for voting him in. But I'm not surprised. These are the same assholes who made Hillary Clinton their senator for God's sake.
Hillary isn't nearly as bad as the liberal fuck they got in office now in Chuck Schumer. Although Kristen Gillibrand is fairly bipartisan and straightforward so I don't mind her.
In general New Yorkers are pretty left for a variety of reasons. But 'true' New Yorkers (ie not the yuppies from the Midwest PB talks about) also have the ability to see a good candidate. If NYC can vote Guiliani and Bloomberg into office there's still hope in my opinion, just get rid of De Blasio. Asshole doesn't deserve the position
