If Pettine determined that the Browns would not make the playoffs, then I wouldn't object to his inserting Manziel as QB to test his skills and provide him with experience. However, if Pettine did think that the Browns could make the playoffs and he was simply frustrated with Hoyer's on-field problems, then I disagree. Under that circumstance, Hoyer should have remained as the Brown's QB.



I think the same as you, if he thought he had a shot at the playoffs, and used manziel, then he failed. of course, it remains to be seen, but, I just can't see him as a nfl QB.
