I don't think Carlo was exaggerating much about his heart condition. In his fbi file it says he had open heart surgery in dec 1957. That not too long after Apalachin. Heart surgery back then wasn't that advanced, he's lucky he survived it. Also in his physical description on the fbi file it said he had surgical scars over both his kidneys. Both kidneys, that couldn't of been good. Unless he had a doctor cut him there just so it would look good when he would postpone cases due to his health. That would of been classic.
