While this topic is still up here, could anyone inform me as to how jimmy burke ended up with all the rackets when batts was locked up? There might even be a story behind that that could apply to this topic. A made guy from the gambinos gets locked up and his rackets go to an associate in the lucchese family? There weren't any made guys in the gambino family that would have wanted those rackets?
Who knows. It was just a loansharking operation. You do have to wonder how lucrative it was though. I mean, risking so much by killing a soldier over it. Then again, Jimmy Burke was pretty crazy. Which is why he was so feared.
