I think it was a gambino associate who stabbed a colombo associate, no made guys involved. They wanted like a hundred grand, gambino's didn;t pay.

That's actually still along the lines of what I'm looking for. I know of some extremely powerful associates, and if they're on the record then it's still a family vs family issue IMO. It's interesting to me to see a battle (not all out war) between people in different families to see who made who back down. Like that gambino vs colombo thing. The story about scarpa was cool too. It was a sit down so that's kinda mundane, but winning your wife in a sit down adds a cool flavor to it
